Below are some common questions about shipping, returns, and exchanges

Do you ship overseas?

At this time we only ship within the United States & Canada.

If you are interested in placing an order in a country not represented at checkout, please contact us and we will look into whether we can work on an arrangement.

How long will it take to get my order?

Orders placed before 12pm EST are shipped same day (excluding weekends and holidays). Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

How will I know when my order ships?

You will receive email confirmations throughout the journey of your order: confirmation when you place the order, updates on when your order ships and is out for delivery. You will even receive an email confirmation to let you know when your order has arrived.

How much is shipping within the US?

We offer free ground shipping for any orders $150 and above.

Do I need to sign for my package?

In the US, you do not need to sign for your package as so many of our customers would prefer not to have to wait to receive their package delivery.

If you wish to sign for for your package upon delivery, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be glad to make special arrangements for you. Or you may sign up for FedEx Ship Manager if you would like to make changes while your order is in transit.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

Our carriers want to make sure they deliver your Thacker styles to a "real" person, they do not deliver to P.O. Box boxes.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major forms of credit cards as payment and use a highly-encrypted system to ensure that your information is safe and secure (we take your privacy very seriously).

What is the status of my order?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive confirmation via email.

Allow the shipping carrier a few hours to update the tracking information after a tracking number is issued.

Is my payment secure?

The security of the information regarding your order is very important to us. We use the 128-bit Secure Socket Layer protocol to protect the security of your online order information. SSL technology encrypts your order information to protect it from being decoded by anyone other than Thacker New York.

Once you enter the checkout page your computer will begin communicating with our server in secure mode. You can tell that you are in secure mode by the following:

The "http" in the web address will be replaced by "https." Depending on the browser, you will see either a padlock (Microsoft Internet Explorer, AOL, Netscape Communicator) or a solid key (Netscape Navigator) in the lower section of the browser window.

Only browsers that use the 128-bit Secure Socket Layer protocol are able to order through the Thacker New York website. If your browser does not support SSL, you can get an upgrade at Microsoft's or Netscape's home page.

How do I apply a promo code?

Just enter your promo code at checkout and your discount will automatically be applied

Can I use more than one promo code?

You may only use one promo code at a time.

How do gift cards work?

Once you purchase a gift card you will receive an order confirmation, followed by an email with the virtual gift card code itself. You may then forward this on. The recipient may redeem the gift card by entering the gift card's unique code at checkout.

How do I use the eGift card?

Every Thacker eGift card has a unique code that may be used to redeem at checkout.

Will the gift card ever expire?

The Thacker eGift card never expires. The code only expires once the full amount of the gift card has been used.

May I use the gift card anywhere Thacker is sold?

The Thacker eGift card may only be used at this website: thackernyc.com

Are gift cards transferrable?

Yes, they are. The only thing you need to transfer your gift card is the gift card code, which can be found in the gift card email.

May I return a gift card?

Our gift cards are non-refundable; however, you may always transfer a gift card to someone else.

Does the gift card include shipping costs and applicable taxes?

We cover free ground shipping on all orders over $150. Since state taxes vary, we cannot offer gift card amounts that cover taxes as well.

Returns & Exchanges

Below are some common questions about return and exchange policy

What is your return policy in the US?

We accept orders 30 days after receipt of your order. 

Enjoy free shipping in the United States on returns within 15 days.

For any orders returned after 15 days of receipt, a $9.95 return shipping fee will apply. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Canadian customers are responsible for all shipping fees associated with returns or exchanges.

How do I make a return if I'm based in the US or Canada?

We accept returns and exchanges 30 days after receiving your order.

Email us at hello@thackernyc.com to initiate a return or exchange.

If you are returning within the US, enjoy free shipping back on returns or exchanges (you will be emailed a prepaid shipping label once you complete the returns process). Shipping fees on exchanges are waived.

Outside of the US, you will have the option to select your preferred return shipping method. Items must be returned unused and unworn, with all tags attached and in their original packaging.

How do I make an exchange?

Go to MY RETURNS & EXCHANGES to initiate and complete your exchange.

If you placed an order within the US, you have 30 days to complete your exchange by following these steps:

a) Return your order (you will be emailed a prepaid shipping label; return shipping is free).

b) Indicate which item you would like to receive instead.

c) Once we receive your return, we will either refund you or send you an invoice to complete payment for the difference in the amount of the new order.

d) We will then ship you the exchange item as soon as this is complete. (Shipping is on us).

Please contact us if you have any questions.

In the rare case that your Thacker item arrives damaged, we will be happy to make an exchange (of the same style and color) free of charge.

When can I expect my refund?

Once our warehouse processes your return, we will issue a refund to your original form of payment. You will receive an email as soon as this occurs.

Please note that, depending on your payment company, it may take up to 2 weeks to receive your refund. Thacker New York is not responsible for any open balances, overdraft fees or service charges resulting from the timing of charges or credits to your account.
